CDC's Emergency Use Authorization of Medical Treatments - An Online Course

An Emergency Use Authorization online course developed by the Food and Drug Administration and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to provide public health officials, emergency managers, or Strategic National Stockpile coordinators with an introduction to the Emergency Use Authorization of medical products.

An EUA allows the use of drugs, biologics and medical devices that are not approved, licensed or cleared respectively (i.e., "unapproved medical products") in an emergency to diagnose, treat, or prevent a serious or life-threatening disease or condition when there are no adequate, approved, or available alternatives.
