MIT researchers have developed a new broad-spectrum antiviral approach called Double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) Activated Caspase Oligomerizer (DRACO) that selectively induces apoptosis in cells containing viral dsRNA that rapidly killing infected cells without harming uninfected cells.
