Out of 209 survey respondents, the authors found:
"The majority of students reported enjoying using the podcasts in the assignment (87%), found them to be both easy to use (96%) and a useful tool for learning (92%), and agreed that they would like to use podcasts in more course assignments (81%), we feel confident in recommending the use of this technology to enhance student learning."
The authors argue that "educators should expand course materials to include prepublished podcasts to engage students with both course topics and a broader skill set for evaluating readily available media."
