Even though there is an increasing rate of African American women in science undergraduate sciences classes, the number of these women actually entering into science as a profession is still rare in most fields.
The film takes a look at how a few different women were able to succeed in their careers as scientists and seeks to promote these women as role models to show other women how to enter into and succeed in a science career.
