BEA contaminant

Fungal contaminant, presumably air borne, on BEA media after 1 month in the refrigerator. Circular white hyphal growth with no spore formation, white hypahl growth slightly mounding in the center. Area around the single colony was back indicating esculin hydrolysis. Read More

Fungal contaminant seen on TSA after several months at refrigerated temperatures. Green spore formation can be seen with exudate droplets through out. Hyphal growth extended up the side of the dish and onto the lid. Read More

Contaminant (yeast?) found on TSA after several months in the refrigerator. The larger colony was circular, mat with concentric rings with a smaller more mucoid yellow growth just off center. Read More
