Having trouble finding that perfect gift for that special someone. In story posted in the Scientist you can learn of a new non-profit program entitled "MyMicrobes" where they are calling interested people to have the microbiome of the gut sequenced. It only will cost 2,100 but the organizers are hoping that the sequence information coupled with information about diet and and gi issues will help advance our understanding of the wonders provided to us by our gut flora.
