These Fellowships are open to promising young investigators in Africa, Asia (including Central/Eastern Europe and the Middle East) and Latin America and the Caribbean who are pursuing, or recently completed, graduate degrees in any of the microbiology disciplines. ASM members are also encouraged to host visiting Fellows.
Additional research opportunities are available to scientists in India and select Latin American countries through the ASM-IUSSTF Indo-US Professorship and ASM-PAHO Infectious Diseases Epidemiology and Surveillance Fellowship.
