Laurie Garrett, MicrobeWorld Twitter follower and author of "Betrayal of Trust" and "The Coming Plague", recently @ replied us to let us know that she was involved in the making of a new Warner Bros. movie entitled "Contagion" that's set for release on September 9, 2011. According to IMDB the movie is "an action-thriller centered on the threat posed by a deadly disease (from the trailer it looks like H5N1, a.k.a bird flu) and an international team of doctors contracted by the CDC to deal with the outbreak."
There are some big names in this film including Matt Damon, Marion Cotillard, Kate Winslet, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jude Law, Laurence Fishburne, and many more.
I expect this may be the summer's big ticket disaster flick.
