Early bird registration is now open for all attendees of ICAAC 2013

Registration is now open for all attendees of ICAAC 2013. ICAAC 2013 attendees will represent nearly 100 countries, and the common language is science! Join the world's most renowned scientists as they discuss the state of infection control and prevention on a global scale.

This year’s program will include the following noteworthy presentations:

Keynote Address
Tuesday, September 10 | 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Fernando Baquero, MD, PhD, Ramón y Cajal Inst. for Hlth. Res., Madrid, Spain

Dr. Baquero will detail how the reductionist attitude of classic antibacterial therapy, crystallized in the dominant “culture of monotherapy” has contributed to perversely fix the old perception of “one disease-one pathogen-one drug.”

Special Address
Thursday, September 12 | 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
"The Importance of Innovation to Address Infectious Diseases in the Developing World"
Trevor Mundel, MD, PhD, Bill & Melinda Gates Fndn., Seattle, WA

Dr. Mundel will highlight current vaccine discovery programs, strategies for the future, neglected diseases, and the Gates Foundations plans for accelerating R & D efforts for low resource settings through new partnerships and programs.
