How to Gift MicrobeWorld (iTunes only)

The MicrobeWorld iPhone and iPod Touch app makes a great gift for the science enthusiast, student or microbiologist in your life.

But wait a minute! How can you gift an app?

It's easy. To gift the MicrobeWorld app select the drop down menu next to the price in the iTunes app store. Choose the “Gift This App” option at the top of the drop down list.

At this point you will be taken to a page within iTunes to fill in your name and the reciepient’s name and email address. You can also type in a personal message. To send the same gift to multiple email recepients, seperate the addresses with commas.

  1. Unfortunately the Android apps are not available in Australia because the Amazon AppStore is restricted to within the USA. Can these apps be made available on the Google apps store?
  2. Hi Alberto Catalana, I will look into it and post back here as soon as I find out. I see no reason why they can't.
  3. This is a follow up for Alberto. Unfortunately our partners who created the app tell us that while they "know it is frustrating for international users there isn't much they can do about it right now." I'll keep you posted if anything changes in the near future.
